Welcome to Stillmeadow Farm’s new location in Bend, Oregon. What are we doing in Oregon? Well, Pamela Brewster, owner of Stillmeadow Farm, has lived her entire life in Stonington, Connecticut, where she began raising warm-blooded show horses and thoroughbred racehorses. In 2011 Pam transformed her farm into an alpaca business and became committed to breeding high quality huacaya alpacas with outstanding genetics. In 2020 it was time to move the farm when Pam’s daughter started a new career on the west coast. Not only did this enabled Pam to be closer to her daughter, but after visiting the state of Oregon, she found that she loved this part of the country, where the forests, mountains and farms take your breath away. Bags were packed, animal trailers were loaded and the farm departed “westward bound." Not only did forty prize-winning alpacas go on the road trip, but all seven dogs and Charlotte, the pot bellied pig, arrived at the new farm. Since arriving in Bend, the first cria of the year (a healthy girl!!!) was born.
Although we are 3,000 miles away from where we first started, you will find the same great service, exceptional award-winning alpacas, and our prized herdsires that Stillmeadow Farm has already been known for. And to top it off, our highly skilled staff, Sylvie Remingol – Farm Manager, and Hugo Layedra – farm hand, also followed in order to keep the farm in tip top shape.
It’s a new and exciting venture for Stillmeadow Farm here in Bend, Oregon, and we look forward to serving you. Come see us for your breeding opportunities to our herdsires and our selection of alpacas for sale.
